TriLink is engaging a range of decision makers and stakeholders to build awareness and consensus. The outreach and decision-making program involves five distinct groups, each with a specific role, to help develop and vet the decision on preferred facility type, alignment, and implementation plan.
Policy Advisory Committee
Role: Provide guidance and oversight for the project.
Executive Steering Committee
Role: Act as a sounding board to provide guidance on items to be brought to the Policy Advisory Committee.
Technical Advisory Committee
Role: Provide the key forum for technical input from public agencies regarding the project.
Stakeholder Involvement Committee
Role: Serve as the key forum for non-governmental organizations to provide input regarding the project.
As the study progresses, public workshops are planned to convey information and seek input from the general public throughout the Tri-County region.
